How to Use Accutane
Isotretinoin usually is taken with food or milk.
Take isotretinoin exactly as directed.
Accutane Side Effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
thinning of hair
red/itchy/dry/inflamed eyes
red/cracked/sore lips
fatigue
dry skin
dry nose
dry mouth
Accutane Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.
Accutane Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
Notes for Accutane
Talk to your doctor about the possible risks of using Isotretinoin for your condition.
Isotretinoin must not be taken if you are pregnant or may become pregnant, as there is a risk of losing the pregnancy, or the baby maybe born early have some brith defects or die shortly after birth.
Do not donate blood whilst taking this medicine.

Keep your doctor informed at all times about your condition and any side effects you may experience.
Avoid alcohol and alcohol containing beverages whilst on a course with this medication.

Accutane Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose.

It is used for treating severe acne which has not responded to oral or topical anti-infectives.

Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :
other bone disorders
pancreatitis
weight problem
anorexia nervosa or an eating disorder
back pain
diabetes
high blood cholesterol/triglycerides
hearing problems
if you drink alcohol-containing beverages
inflammatory bowel disease
liver disease
low white blood cell count
mental problems/a family history of mental problems
osteoporosis/osteomalacia
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
